I was thrilled to discover this masterpiece in WKF's backpack. He created it after his field trip to the Rijksmuseum. He was thrilled that I could tell right away which painting inspired his. School art is the best.
Nothing says spring in holland quite like white asparagus. The dutch get so so excited about the annual arrival of this vegetable, it is as dependable as the tulip. I cannot believe this is our third tulip and asparagus season in Amsterdam.
