For my goodbye to HB, I painted her nails delft-style, since she loved mine at my farewell fete. I still have 1.5 more weeks in Amsterdam, but she and her family have left for a trip and by the time they return we will be gone.
As I proved at my fete, waving goodbye with a fun manicure is a bit easier than waving goodbye with boring nails. Even so, this goodbye was a tough one, it left us all feeling very blauw.
