French Back Country

TonTon Gilles took O and Ry on an adventure Christmas morning.  Once they reached the top of their hike Gilles brought out oysters, wine, baguette and sausage from his hiking pack.  Cuz that's how they do it here...

Apres le picnic they met up with the kids and I, here.  For another gouter.  The alps taste so good.

PS, go me for skiing solo with both kids all morning and finding our way to the midday meeting place.  The only challenge was keeping up with them.  I wish I was exaggerating.
