Funny Confession #128

Posts like this are so dangerous.  They get me thinking "oh yeah, I could totally have 3 kids...and stack them (literally stack them) in one extremely clean and organized room."  And when you have 3 it appears that they all make their own beds, perfectly, so that is cool too.

Mothers of 3+ (LKL, JSG, HVK, Mayhem...) please chime in here with some reality...

Yes, this is how it is with 3. Also, they pick up all of their toys, wash their own dishes, and fold and put away their laundry. We had to ask them to please just go play instead of washing the windows yesterday. You should definatley have a third.

I'm well on my way to #3 and I'm pretty much banking on that theory as well... But I love the bed idea--with 3 boys in a 3 bedroom house I might just have to save that post and hire a carpenter so I don't have to give up my craft room for this new little boy.

I bet if you have a third you could hire Jim to come out and build that for you. I think two is a good number.

ok, you know I love having three, but I have to call bull$h!t on that triple bunk bed situation! like, seriously, the kid on the top has to crawl through the middle bunk to get in/out of their bed? i even followed the links back a ways in an attempt to determine if it is a "real" room- I suspect some childless designer is feeling pretty smug about that bedroom! :)
ps- I like your stairs post. I think one post out of 100 can be a little complain-ey!

We have four children and a four bedroom house and currently our two boys and daughter are sleeping in one room. One bedroom sits empty until our little Miss decides she isn't afraid of the dark anymore. I've even joked with our beds (and trundles) we have room to sleep 8 kids--not gonna happen.

Can you imagine trying to change the sheets on those beds? Oh, I forgot, the kids will do it!
