Fork Town

The Portland food scene is so so good...it can probably be a bit confusing or overwhelming for visitors and locals alike. Enter: forktown food tours. Sign up and take a tour! Currently, tours are available every Thursday from 2 to 5. This biz was started by a friend of UncleRy's. Any friend of his is probably pretty cool.
If you aren't sure about this concept...keep reading (and look at these gorgeous pictures)....
Beer-butt smoked chicken with rhubarb/rye/basil coolers at the legendary Wildwood Restaurant.

Fine italian sausages and some chorizo and two kinds of sopressata. Everything is made in house - Chop Butchery and Charcuterie.

Coconut and saffron macarons from Two Tarts.
Homemade peanut butter, Hood River cherry preserves, applewood smoked bacon, jalapenos, grilled on thick slices of challah from PB&J's foodcart.

BBQ oxtail sliders on house made focaccia from Besaws.

Now imagine getting all of this and more in one yummy tour. Now, go sign up. Yum. Looks fun, right?

all these gorgeous photos are from here.
