How cute are these masculine cupcakes??? They come in 12 manly flavors, including "rum and coke", "beer run", "driller" and "big papi". And there are 6 styles - camo, woodgrain, houndstooth, plaid, checkerboard, and marble. Awesome, right?

Happy New Year - Take Two

It is so warm and pretty today...so I took the babes back to the Chinese Garden, to make up for our last attempt - when we just looked through the windows.

Miss P got all Zen on us, she slept through the whole garden.

WKF loved all the water (aka wa wa).

My favorite part was all the blooming trees. It smelled like delicious spring. Ahhhh.

WKF loved putting money in the case for these 2 cuties at the Hillsdale Farmer's Market yesterday. These little musicians knew about 4 songs, all of which happened to be favorites to WKF (including Frere Jacques - he really lit up when they played that one).

We ate inside the school bus - which W loved (OK, I did too, how cute is our booth?!).
And...we ended up meeting up with some friends who live in the neighborhood of GCG (lucky for them). Thanks so much L and S for joining us, I'm so glad I texted you!!

We'll be back, it was super cute, kid-friendly and really fun. Who doesn't like grilled cheese???

And my final Julia thought for the day - I really enjoyed this article. Maybe I like a little drama...maybe I agree that NBC may have picked the "wrong queen of alpine".

No doubt Lindsay is also amazing and adorable and I want her to also do well....but Julia sure got overlooked (not by me - haha)...and now she sure is on fire. Go Jules.

The weather here lately has been UNREAL. Sunny, warm, amazing. Trees blooming, birds singing, amazing.

But...I have new super cute rain boots that I am just dying to wear.

Liberty for Target?!

Dear Target,

I hope this isn't another mean tease like the one you pulled with Orla Kiely (I looked and looked at multiple target stores for a specific apron which was featured in all the ads and never could find it - see below). **

Because much like the hype for the Orla Kiely line, your new Liberty collaboration looks awesome. I especially think that I love some of the clothes (dresses and jammies) and the bedding and the place settings.... I can't wait to see it all in person. I hope that happens.

My calendar is marked for March 14th, don't let me down. I'm busy and don't have time for games. Thanks.

Happy New Year! We popped over to the Chinese Garden to celebrate yesterday. The line was long...and naptime was just around the corner....so we just looked through the windows. Our timing was perfect, we caught the lion dancers.

SEVEN years ago...this very weekend...Oli proposed to me in the halfpipe at Stowe. I couldn't believe it (still can't). Here are some pix from that magical weekend (7 years, 4 jobs, 3 moves, and 2 babies ago).

And no, he didn't propose on Vday, he's not cheesy like that :).

We could not be more excited about the Olympic Games! I'm so glad they are finally starting! Yipee!

Sidenote: Some year I want to pull my act together and host some kind of Olympic party with cupcakes and everything.
