4th!
We used to have big parties on the 4th. We either hosted them, or went to them. This year, the kids have school and O will go to work because, well, the 4th is no big deal over here. How bizarre.

That post was awesome! Sorry your 4th was bleh but you'll have lots of european holidays to celebrate while you're living your life abroad.
