My kids may want an explanation when they realize Mac n cheese isn't usually green. They may also wonder why other people call kale "kale" and not "magique".
It's a sad day when they learn. They got mac 'n cheese at a friend's house, and it hasn't been the same since. I still always serve it green, although it's now met with an initial "aw! but..." It's alright. They get over it.
I will save you from this parenting conundrum by introducing them to the galley boy, potato puffs, and California's in June. Then they will know true "Magique". You're Welcome.
