Elvis Lives

Great news Portland...the 24 Hour Church of Elvis is reopened in a new location (408 NW Couch). I first heard the news here (which is also where the photo below comes from).

Random side note: A quick browse of the 24hourchurchofelvis website tells me that weddings are not currently available at this time. Boo, too bad. Wedding details are available on the site...it looks like you get quite a package for $25 (Includes Wedding March, Fashion Twirl, Testimonial Time, Inspirational Message, Touching Legalization of the Vows, Kiss, First Dance and Traditional Sidewalk Parade). Wow. Of course its an extra $25 to get Elvis to sing. Hopefully they'll get the wedding packages figured out again soon. This is an interesting alternative to a wedding over at VooDoo.

I have added this attraction to my never ending Portland to do list.
