Run With Me In Ohio
This post is brought to you by jet lag.
Sunrise over strip malls, and many colorful foliage miles along the gorgeous sand run trail. Good to be home. And today, the high school crew will reunite to celebrate a wedding. So sooooo excited!!

Photos du Jour
A few random snaps from the past few days:
I had never seen a sign like this until today. LOVE.
Noodle making lesson...
My washing machine is the size of a thimble and my dryer takes about 2+ hours to dry anything and I can't run both at the same time...and so sometimes...this happens...and I have to pull it back together before I can go to bed.
Today was the pride parade, we didn't make it to the parade (we did last year - and w was pretty clear that he loved it but didn't want to deal with the crowds again)... but we are loving the rainbow flags all over town.
Fun to catch this sunrise over the double deck bike parking at Centraal Station the other morning...
Each day after football camp this week, we'd stop halfway home (so I could rest my bike legs...the camp was far away) to pick blackberries. The kids loved it and W said "ahhh, it tastes like Portland". Love!

Fondue crew
Speaking of Tahoe...our final night in town (last Saturday) was full of friends, family and fondue. Mona and O's dad host the most fun gatherings. Merci!
Legend has it if you are caught skiing down the tram chute (a crazy steep rocky pitch under the tram ) at Squaw, your pass is pulled for life.
Has anyone noticed the recent tracks? I have no idea where they came from and nobody at this fondue party did it (or talked about it all night).
The other photos included in this post are just some totallyhandsome random guy skiing gnarly steep lines just before sunrise. Totally unrelated to that thing I was talking about regarding skiing under the tram; because I don't know anyone who got up at 4am to hike up and do that.

Tahoe Love
As expected, we had a blast in Tahoe! Having a 7 year old uncle is, like, the coolest. The other uncles are all awesome too. And the grandparents, and the aunties. And Mona. I am so lucky to have Tahoe and Squaw Valley in my life, the people and the place are so special and so beautiful. Tahoe Love! Great bike rides, great runs, great paddle boarding, great time.
Papa getting upside down, he's still got it.
Go Red Lasers. Papa Jean is the coach, just as he was 30 years ago for O. So awesome.
Our morning wake up call. Sunrise and Sylly at the window. Love.
