First day of l'ecole

I was trying to capture the classic "first day of school" pose in front of the door at home.  This was the best shot I could get.  No clue how those Pinterest/blog moms are documenting such amazing photos (holding up bedazzled / embroidered "first day of preschool" plaques).  This was literally all I could get.  I wan't even aiming high - just hoping for 2 sweet faces.  I sorta love it. 

 

 

Since the shot at home was a bust, I tried to get them at school.  Not much more luck there, although now they were at least forward facing, mask free, and sweetly holding hands.
