Me, walking to lunch today. Artsy, huh?
Thanks for the stroll. Don't you love crunchy leaves? Have a fab weekend yo.

Odd Designer-Branded Products
I really enjoyed this list and Gallery on Gloss of the 12 Oddest Designer-Branded Products.
The only thing odd to me about this list was how badly I want it all...especially these items:
Prada Tea Bags
LV Garbage Bags (what? we go through a lot of diapers...)Marc Jacobs tape measure
Gucci 3-D Glasses
Chanel Fishing Set (Bonnie Estep - you need this)

Photo du Jour
I took this photo so that when the babes are no longer babes I will never forget what our floor looks like covered in cheerios. It looks like this everyday.
Make Yourself
I am not sure if this new Nike campaign has hit big beyond Portland yet, but it is plastered all over Nike World Headquarters and I must say I think it is totally brilliant. I feel inspired when I see it. I think "Make Yourself" is the next "Just Do It". I think I love that it targets Women too. Of course I also love that our favorite gold medal girl is in the following "Make Yourself" video:
So...Make Yourself...
Big props to the smart people that come up with this stuff. My friend EL had a part in it all...which I didn't know until after I fell in love with the campaign. Go EL.

My Kind of Camper
Similar to Lodekka...Wanderlust is a shop on wheels. This rolling store is Portland's first traveling retail cart. Looks kinda funky and interesting, huh?
I borrowed this photo from their site, and it makes me feel like I may have to find this trailer shop so that O and I have exactly the right outfits the next time we bring our record player to the park...They are having a grand opening fete on November 20th. Looks like it will be sweet and sassy.

Lodekka
I'm pretty sure I need to make some time to go to this double decker bus/ dress shop. Because who would not want to buy a dress from a double decker bus? And more importantly, why would you not want to support some chic that made this vision a reality. Cool article on all of it here. Lodekka's facebook page is here.
I think I could rock either one of these numbers...

Birthday Birdie
Happy Birthday to my gorgeous mama. I wish we could be with you to sing and eat cake! Love you lots and lots. Thanks for taking such good care of us, even from afar.
I think this may be one of my favorite photos of birdie - how awesome does she look?! And it was such a happy event...We are sending kisses to Akron today!
Two La La
This funky chicken, who also happens to be my godgirl, has a birthday today!!! She will be celebrating in style, because her Manhattan mama does everything in style. Little Rbud, I cannot wait to kiss on you in February. Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!!!
I can't believe one year has passed since this post...and two since this one! Time flies when your best buddy has babies on the other side of the country....

Yikes
Somehow I missed this clip when it did its viral 2 million views thing a few years ago. But thankfully my tuned in friend sent me the link for a good laugh today. Wow. If you ever think you had a bad day at work...put yourself in this anchor woman's shoes. The anchor dude wants to get to commercial ASAP. This is hilarious.

Happy Halloween!
I hope you got lots of treats and not too many tricks! We had a picture perfect halloween!
My sweet octopus!
Our buddy came over, as RunDMC yo. Turns out RunDMC is a leg man...
WKF got some good loot, despite his refusal to wear much of a costume. I had 8 little legs for him...but he wanted no part of his spider outfit. Oh well.
