I ran by it this morning and concluded that I'm pretty sure we don't want to know what happens at the candy club.

Thankful!
So much to be thankful for again this year. In Amsterdam we don't get days off from school or work to celebrate Thanksgiving. Rest assured we'll still celebrate. We are going big, eating turkey, toasting with new friends and giving thanks all weekend. I hope yours was fabulous.

Funny Confession #256
If I crank out a pile of blog posts in one day it usually means that I have a ton of work to do around the house...
Losing Never Felt So Good
Fellow Catamounts, can you BELIEVE we lost to DUKE by only 1 point?!? Go Cats Go, AMAZING!

Vianden
After saying (sad) goodbyes to our cousins, we drove to Vianden for lunch and a castle tour. I hadn't been here in nearly 25 years, it was lovely to return.
Spotted this sweet yarn bomb down the hill from the castle.
Funny Confession #244
Staying at the Royal...maybe we sang this song all weekend long, and maybe I let people call me Queen Bee.
And maybe P never did believe me when I told her over and over that this was not a sink for children, or a water fountain...

Memory Lane
Late last night we returned from a long weekend in Luxembourg with my Sister and her family. My sis and I have so many memories from Lux, it was awesome to stroll through the Green Heart of Europe all together for a few days. We rallied by car Friday morning, O was such a trooper...as soon as he landed from a week in PDX we hit the road. Friday must of been a long day for him - he was on 2 continents and in 4 countries, awake for more straight hours than any human should be...all with a smile, what a guy. The kids were troopers too...both are so used to bike life, that after about 15 minutes in a car they are sick. Even the prettiest road trip is not pretty with my kids...not pretty at all...the poor things turn green and lose their lunch. As usual, the rally was worth it...we had a blast!

We were excited to find the Christmas Market was set up...we ate our way through it each day...
The palace looked just as we remembered it...
Wes and P were surprised to find out Santa spoke french...
On our way out of town Sunday we popped by our old digs. W had been there before, but swore he didn't remember...
We alsoterrorized hit up the patisserie in our village...
Only the best for this crew...we packed ourselves into a few rooms at Le Royal, which was a hotel packed full of memories for my sis and I. We lived there for several months in the 80s while moving in and out of Luxembourg.
We made the most of our time in Lux, hitting the town night and day. Below is a view of the Grund at night.

Royals
My love for a capella is no secret. I also love this song (who doesn't?). Thank you FSU AcaBelles for bringing these loves together so perfectly.
I am confident you have already seen this somewhere on that world wide web...but just in case you have not...here it is.
