I'm Gonna Toss and Turn Tonight

Tomorrow is P's first day of "school" and my first full day back onsite at work. The only thing I am confident about is that our morning will be hectic. There are a zillion reasons why I may toss and turn tonight. And now, after seeing this picture, there are a zillion and one reasons.
This photo speaks to me. It says, SKF paint all of your colorful walls white, and all of your white trim black. Reupholster everything. Get some fresh pillows. I sorta love this picture, and I sorta wish I never saw it...

Red Bed

Posts like this one and this one remind me that I really want to find and old bed and paint it red.

My sis has the perfect bed for this project. I keep nagging her to do it. Perhaps one day I'll convince her to go for it and then I'll post the pix.

My friends know me well. I have been alerted by 3 different girlfriends (one by email, one by blog comment, and one by mail - with a tear out from a magazine) about "glamping". Definition: glamorous camping. Sounds like an oxymoron...but the photos do a good job of selling it for me. Top photo was borrowed from this blog, but info on the location is available here.

If I'm going to splurge on a vacation, "camping" probably won't be anywhere in the description, even if its spelled with a "G". For now I will probably be getting my camping "beautyrest" in the back of the minivan .

Going Out

Gonna put on some big girl shoes and hit this rad town tonight with a great crew of awesome buds. Yeah. OP has been on our to do list for a few months. Gonna get it done tonight.

Friends in Town

We have been hosting lots of fun guests lately. Last week's guests have promised me that they will do a guest post...so I will say no more about them, until they are ready to post.

This week, Portland's Sweetheart is back in town (remember, she left us and moved to Boston last winter?!) We are honored to have her staying at our pad. She brought a man with her...and he seems to be great!
