I always love my first post-vacation run.  I tend to circle through town, making sure all of the important art is still in the right place.

Home!

My resort slippers, souvenir rooster, family and I are home!  Re-entry is never as fabulous as vacation...but the warm summer temps that Amsterdam finally found are helping to ease the transition!

Last night we got a sitter and went back to the fig tree.  That place is the bomb.

Today we took a break from epic beach exploration to blow some little minds at the aqualand water park.  Mission accomplished.  Minds blown.  We all had a blast.

I love two kinds of beaches.  Crazy crowded and private.  Both make me confident I'm in the right place.  Anything in between leaves me wondering what I'm missing.  We are finding both here in Portugal.  Vacation is fucking awesome.
