French Revolution

A maman at the school started a little running group. And suddenly it is a big running group. I don't join often for their group runs, but when I do they are welcoming and colorful. I love the running and the french language immersion. In true French style, the run involves coffee (before and after), is never rushed, and smoke breaks are permitted. #culture.

Making 40 Look Fab

One of my dearest AMS friends and running mates is celebrating a milestone birthday (all month long, as she should). We tried very hard to lock down a ride on the Amsterdam Hot Tug to commemorate the milestone, but it is not operational quite yet. Damn.

Instead we have enjoyed a very fun night out, some good runs, some family pizza parties, and a singing telegram...

Look closely at her cake, it is our rolling running buddy. Gefeliciteerd ARS, so glad to be here to celebrate with you!  xo

I snapped this on my morning run. This gorgeousness is right down the road from my home. This city is so hot. 

Every time i pass this funky, life-size, golden, angel-sculpture-thing I feel like I need to buy her and bring her home to my house. She looks religious but with the right styling we could give her some edge and make her feel at home with us heathens. What say you?
