Tahoe Love

As expected, we had a blast in Tahoe!  Having a 7 year old uncle is, like, the coolest.  The other uncles are all awesome too.  And the grandparents, and the aunties.  And Mona.  I am so lucky to have Tahoe and Squaw Valley in my life, the people and the place are so special and so beautiful.  Tahoe Love!  Great bike rides, great runs, great paddle boarding, great time.
Papa getting upside down, he's still got it.
Go Red Lasers.  Papa Jean is the coach, just as he was 30 years ago for O.  So awesome.

Our morning wake up call.  Sunrise and Sylly at the window.  Love.

Chagall for Children

It still feels like summer here, and I am digging it.

Hearing about this exhibit helps me embrace the inevitable change of seasons (from dry to wet).  The children's museum is a wonderful place to spend a cold rainy day.  We'll see you there.

Funny Confession # 171

Sometimes a photo crop makes you look like a better parent. Letting your kids play in a dirty pile of dirt/sand in a parking spot quickly becomes two sweet siblings playing in the sand at (ok near) the beach.

Salt snob?

Am I a salt snob or a Portlandia episode?  I totally enjoyed hand harvested salt from Netarts Bay in Netarts Bay?  Whatever I am (total dork), I was into it.

I was also putting the happy camp into Happy Camp Road by making s'mores over an open fire...over the gas burner in a lovely oceanview condo kitchen - all camping should be that happy.
If I really wanted to get fancy I would have added a dash of that sel onto my s'more. I didn't think of it until now.

Ooops

Speaking of Nike...lil' W didn't need a jersey or elite socks, but I got so excited about the new NFL Nike gear, and I love Tom football, and the socks are all the rage...so here we are. Wants and needs are so confusing.

LJ

O bumped into some guy from my hometown on the Nike campus.
